The Case of Human Error

I took the following photo yesterday and it turned out to be quite overexposed.

The camera was set at ISO400 and f/2.

Up until 10 minutes ago, I thought the camera has exposure problem because I took this kind of overexposed shot once with the exact setting.

The it hits me. The manual did say something about maximum shutter speed at f/2.

As it turns out, the camera can go up to 1/1000 at f/2. Combine that with ISO400 and bright sun light, the photo will definitely be overexposed.

Next time, smaller aperture and ND filter will help.

My bad.
