I completely forgot about the publicity stunt flight to the new airport which occured 2 days ago. I used to think that Sep 29 is the “finish date” - meaing the airport is fully operational and ready for services. Instead, the airport will not be open until the middle of next year. It has something to do with the fact that the airport is not done yet and it has to go through inspections by some airport authorities too.
So, why the stunt? Why not wait until it’s officially open before taking the so-called “first flight”? Does it has something to do with “the stars” %(me)in term of astrology%? … Or maybe the guy’s afraid that he’ll not be there for the opening ceremony. Possible, possible. ;)
Anyway, I still don’t see the point of this stunt. I guess the BBC reporter was right and the headline is very clear. (“Thai PM opens unfinished airport”:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/4293416.stm) :/

I don’t have anything new yet so I don’t want to open a new entry just for this.
“Mr. Usability”:http://www.useit.com/ is at it again. Now he talks about “Top Ten Web Design Mistakes of 2005”:http://www.useit.com/alertbox/designmistakes.html and the article got an almost “immediate response”:http://jeffcroft.com/blog/archives/2005/10/jakobs_ten_mist.php from a real web designer.
I have to say that I agree with the real designer. %(me)Eventhough I don’t consider myself to be a real web designer. 1/5 of my consciousness says I have to be. It’s part of the job. ;)%
